This week’s MP3 Monday comes from local singer/songwriter Ben Hackett, who’s about to release his second album in more than 15 years of performing. The Blue Hour, a 10-song CD, comes out this Friday, with a release show at Club Cafe. Show starts at 7 p.m.; Chelsea Jones opens. Tickets are $12. I have been lucky enough to hear some of the songs before being released and i think they are amazing songs. Ben seems to have dug deep to write this one and i can’t wait for the show…..

i went to club cafe just to see who was there that night. i love the album and the song 21 he played. everyone in the club that night loved it and he really brought down the house. even better he autographed both of my albums .. thanks ben your awesome can’t wait to see you on top …. p.s. who ever this yinzer jackoff is below me need to get a life and stop listening to the bull crap you do and go screw ur self jerk

1 of my favorite songs of all time is “Somewhere down the line”. It depresses me makes me feel at the same time. I can relate to Ben on an emotional level and i love his music. Wish i could’ve been at the latest show.
