Lynn recounted two stories about how red states treat workers: Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a law making it illegal for any town or county to institute laws requiring employers to provide water, shade and rest breaks to outdoor workers. Also, in Georgia, the prison system daily buses thousands of inmates to private businesses where they work and then the state confiscates 40% of anything they earn. Also, a bronze statue of Trump popped up overnight in a Philadelphia park. At the base is a plaque that reads, “In Honor of a Lifetime of Sexual Assault.”
