Both candidates are millionaires, but took different paths: Toomey, a Republican, as a Wall Street financier and McGinty, a Democrat, as a board member of energy companies. Their race is the most expensive U.S. Senate race in the country and could decide which party controls the Senate. A flurry of ads has made it almost as omnipresent here as the presidential contest.
