It was a relatively quiet episode for Pittsburgh’s own, Alaska, on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The main challenge asked the queens to lip-sync spoken word — in this case, high drama scenes from previous season’s Untucked episodes. (Untucked is bonus material, simply a camera in the off-stage waiting room, where cocktails — and much shade — is served.)

It was a trifle weird (or entirely rigged) that Alaska’s team drew Season 4’s Untucked scene, which featured Alaska’s real-life boyfriend Sharon Needles in a spat with Phi Phi O’Hara. Alaska chose to play Phi Phi, and it was some high-level meta when she got in a pretend fight with a man pretending to be another man pretending to be a woman, who at home is her real boyfriend.

Alaska remained safe in the runway walk-off, and moves on to episode 3.
