Typically, only students at selected local colleges can receive free admission to the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History. But on select days this fall, everyone can take a gander at Claude Monet’s “Water Lilies” or stand beneath the great Tyrannosaurus Rex for free.

Thanks to support by The Jack Buncher Foundation and UPMC Health Plan, admission to both museums is free on the third Sunday of every month through November. The remaining free-admission days are this Sun., Sept. 17, and Oct. 15 and Nov. 19.

And, partnering with the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD), the museums will also offer free admission on Sept. 23 as part of this year’s RADical Days, an annual event thanking the public for supporting RAD-funded organizations with its tax dollars.

Additionally, the two museums have permanently expanded Sunday hours. They are now open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. every Sunday.
