The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is in the process of creating a living music collection called Stacks. This project is an ongoing effort to document Pittsburgh’s growing and changing music scene. All that’s need for access to this collection of music is a Carnegie Library card. Submissions are being accepted until October 8.

Cardi B’s album, Invasion of Privacy, released in back in April, has become the most streamed female rap album of all time. That title was previously held by Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint. But, this achievement is being overshadowed by a transphobic meme that was posted on Cardi B’s Facebook.
It’s come to my attention that there have been offensive posts made on what used to be my Facebook page. For the past year and a half a FORMER team member has been the only one with access to the account.

I am a huge advocate for free speech but as long as its socially acceptable to make jokes about trans people, to make and share memes disparaging & demeaning trans folks, trans folks will continue to be murdered &denied civil rights. #TransIsBeautiful #transrightsarehumanrights

Rapper/singer Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, is retiring his nickname. During a performance at Madison Square Garden this weekend, the “This is America” artist told the audience, “If you bought a ticket to this concert, that means you bought a ticket to the last Childish Gambino tour ever.” Glover plans to continue to make music, just without the moniker.

Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly have been going at it ever since the surprise release of Eminem’s album, Kamikaze. In the album, Eminem disses a multitude of artists, MGK, received an entire song entitled “Not Alike” attacking him. MGM released track, “Rap Devil” in response a few days after along with a music video. The beef was thought to be over with until Eminem released another diss track, “Killshot” a few days ago.
#killshot and #rapdevil are both good diss tracks tbh
But in terms of lyrics and content, #rapdevil is actually the better diss
Machine Gun Kelly has won this beef abeg

(1) Rap devil is the prime example of clickbaits. If he wouldn’t mention about dissing Em then nobody would give a shit to his song. On other side, Eminem released the whole fking album without any promo & it was #1 in 70 countries. Calm your tities millennials. #KILLSHOT
