Lynn talked of the horror of the death toll in the Texas floods and the lack of government preparedness and coordination that could have prevented some of the loss of life. Trump’s decimation of the NWS and FEMA and NOAA also play a part. Also, the irony of Neal Diamond’s song “Coming to America” starting of Pittsburgh’s 4th of July fireworks display. It’s a song welcoming immigrant and refugees. In Donald Trump’s America 2025 that is decidedly not an American value anymore.
