Picklesburgh 2025
Multiple locations, Downtown. picklesburgh.com
Pittsburgh celebrates 10 years of being the destination for all things pickled when Picklesburgh returns. From Fri., July 11-Sun., July 13, the festival takes over Downtown with an expanded footprint, a limited-edition anniversary T-shirt, and more than 50 vendors serving “dill-icious” food, pickled drinks, desserts, and more. The line-up includes pickle gelato from Millie’s, last year’s fan-favorite Gherkin Grilled Cheese sandwich from Jenny Lee Bakery, pickled pepperoni rolls and a pickled Aperol spritz from DiAnoia’s, a “diña colada,” and pickle-themed merch.

This year, in addition to the Dill-Cathlon Games, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership debuts Pickle Riding (no comment from us on the name), inviting festival-goers to ride a mechanical bull-style gherkin stationed near PPG Plaza. Extend the pickle-mania and enjoy pickle food and beverages from 23 Downtown businesses at a Taste of Picklesburgh event running through Sun., July 13. Try a classic pickleback shot at Pittsburgh Pop-up (which is currently ’90s-themed), an oyster po’boy with fried pickle chips at The Original Oyster House, pickle lemonade at PAIR Charcuterie, and more. Buy a pickle-themed item and receive a free Heinz Pickle Pin while supplies last.
