The tense showdown between demonstrators in L.A. and the authorities was a made-for-television reality show produced by Donald Trump. Real-time drama, cops, guns and explosions…..all cynically created by concocting a fake riot or “rebellion.” The fascinating thing, though, is the different narrations being offered on CNN and FOX….one functioning as a news organization, the other as a propaganda arm of the show’s producer. Furthering the division that has gotten us to this frightening place.
