Lynn pointed out that there are still jurists who put the facts and the law before their political leanings, otherwise we would not see Republican-appointed judges striking down Trump directives. But for every Amy Coney Barrett, there is a Sam Alito, who views every case through the constricted view of his own rightwing ideology. Also, Trump continues getting rid of women in the military in high positions. The latest: a NATO naval general who once had the gall to say, “diversity is our strength.” It’s a wonder they didn’t take her out and shoot her.
