Lynn talked about the documentary “Sunday Best,” on Netflix. It’s about Ed Sullivan’s iconic Sunday night variety show during the 50’s and 60’s and how it introduced America to Black music and performers and in doing so helped to integrate the country. She also talked about how the emotional juice of fascism is hatred toward the “other.” Immigrants, Democrats, gays, Jews, Blacks……it unifies the base and keeps them in a state of constant outrage.
