After a shaky beginning where Lynn, always technologically flummoxed couldn’t find the intro music, the show went on with its usual doom and gloom about the end of American democracy, zeroing in specifically on Hannah Arendt’s warning about the use of lying as a means to make people eventually not be able to trust anything or tell truth from friction or right from wrong. On a lighter note, Lynn talked about jobs she’d had in her youth, bumping into Charlton Heston on one and giving Loretta Lynn breakfast on another.
